Week 37, 2026 (September 14, 2026)
Delivery now runs RLN live via the membership module — logos-delivery exposes an RLN plugin interface, logos-delivery-module implements it against logos-rln-module, and RLN runs in the delivery demo (#448 closed).
Offline-period backfill landed — history on your subscribed content topic is now queried automatically from Store nodes for any period the node was offline (#430 closed).
LIP-243 segmentation integrated into the Reliable Channel API (#318 closed), and the v0.39.0-rc.2 release process kicked off.
Poseidon2 benchmark published — comparing Zerokit's implementation against other Rust implementations, both natively and on risc0.
Standalone service discovery is now integrated into Logos Delivery on both the liblogosdelivery and logos-delivery-module sides, tested locally in a docker-compose harness and awaiting approval.
Optional dependencies landed, from the LIDL grammar to the app — a third dependency kind (concrete modules a module may call but does not require), held apart at every layer: the loader never auto-loads them, never reports one as missing, and never fails a load over one.
Basecamp is a real Windows application — a GUI-subsystem exe with child hosts spawned CREATE_NO_WINDOW (10 console windows → 2) and an NSIS installer with a portable mode (113 MB → 51 MB).
The completion channel is now reserved for transports — __logos_call_complete__, which carries a deferred call's return value, is off every module's event surface at onEvent() and in wildcard fan-out.
The hidden services simulator is complete — reference path selectors and scripts reproduce the research, with experiments across configurations and threat models.
Documenting a set of RLN optimizations that should cut single-core proving time from 200 ms to 15 ms, with a preprint planned.
EmPoWering machinery RFC merged: Proof of Work mining, claims, and reward pool specified in Mantle logos-lips#400
Blend Failure Detection and Reaction RFC merged logos-lips#412
Hierarchical deterministic wallet primitives merged #3508, logos-lips#437
logos-delivery no longer knows about LEZ and no longer manages RLN membership. The library supports RLN plugins, and logos-rln-module owns membership behind that interface. Tracked from #448 instead.LOGOS_DELIVERY_NODE_AddressManagerBasecamp is a real Windows application — a GUI-subsystem exe with the child hosts spawned CREATE_NO_WINDOW (10 console windows → 2), shipped as an NSIS installer with a portable mode (113 MB → 51 MB). Optional dependencies load by default, the welcome page became the way into the app (search, Ctrl+K, recently-closed), the intent surface gained a namespace and more providers, same-named repositories are told apart, and the MCP-driven app-manager test layer grew.
Carry optional_dependencies through the contract and complete the optional-dependency host surface (LogosLoadDeps); relock onto the reserved completion channel.
Configure RLN in the demo and show it live; pick the sender anonymity level in createNode; build on aarch64-linux.
RLN became pluggable and implementation-agnostic — the module took on the configuration, registry and backend lifecycle the delivery library's plugin deliberately carries none of; plus aarch64 builds and a published API reference.
Declare verified_proxy_module and modules_state optional dependencies, and let a caller bound call with its own deadline; cross-build to Windows.
Send a zero fee cap on eth_estimateGas so small accounts can be estimated; cross-build to Windows.
A role is a set, so a second holder can be added; hand the approver the requester's claim as its own list; and split the ack timer into requester cleanup and abandoned-offer GC.
The signer sheet became legible — three numbered sections (who asked / what you are signing / what this signer makes of it), the token list naming the address being signed to, and a rename to evm_signer_ui; cross-build to Windows.
Prove the Windows cross-build stays working; bump logos-module-builder.
payer is now available in FFI as an argument, and register_public_account removed in favour of fees.
Load semantics for optional dependencies — best-effort, never reported missing, never failing a load; and one logos-protocol and one qt-host per closure enforced under an override; relock onto protocol 0.9.
Load optional dependencies by default and report the skips; on Windows the --detach daemon stops holding the caller's pipes, outlives an ssh session and stops popping consoles; publish only logosctl with Windows install steps; a 0x address stays a string.
optional_dependencies, a third dependency kind, carried end to end; Rust module templates (minimal, and one wrapping a C library); platform-keyed deps and shipped resolved metadata; crates.io wiring.
Relock protocol, cpp-sdk and qt-sdk onto the reserved completion channel.
Bump modules for 0.2.5-rc1/rc2, publish the windows-x86_64 variant, and add logos-json-rpc-bridge.
Stop one array-valued manifest field (provides) from dropping a whole repo; add repo source information to tell same-named repos apart; stage downloads in a private dir and say why one failed.
Distinguish same repo names from different users, carry the catalog fix, and stage private downloads.
Project optional_dependencies across the module ABI, carrying the optional flag through.
Tell same-named repositories apart; add an intent to install a module that launches the same flow as PMUI; fix basecamp intents.
Relock logos-lidl onto optional_depends and logos-protocol onto the reserved completion channel.
Reserve the completion channel so only a transport can read it — __logos_call_complete__ is off every module's event surface, at onEvent() and in wildcard fan-out; the token exchange waits on the caller's budget; and the qt-host/protocol pairing published as a check.
Forward LogosLoadDeps and the optional-load report; relock onto the reserved completion channel.
Let a rust-first module opt into about_to_unload; carry optional_depends that serde was dropping; escape contract names that are Rust keywords.
Load optional dependencies alongside required ones; reach the core through the SDK wrapper rather than its own prototypes; relock onto the reserved completion channel.
Prove a module loads without its optional dependency, cover the teardown contract for a rust-first module, and go green on macOS.
Tutorials for everything since tutorial-v4 — the three dependency kinds and when to reach for optional, the two Rust scaffolds, and the Windows installer.
Spawn ui-host with CREATE_NO_WINDOW on Windows; relock onto protocol 0.9.
payer can be given explicitly in the wallet #841 and over FFI logos-execution-zone-module#56ProgramId and Program clean-up (in-review) #846; private execution of immutable programs and shadow programs moved to review (in-review) #824
